Your financial inputs

Net worth, spending, and every amount you type into a calculator are held in your browser. They are stored using your browser’s local storage so the tools remember them when you come back, and they are not sent to our servers, because the calculations that use them run on your device.

Clearing your browser’s site data removes them. We cannot remove them for you, because we never had them.

What does reach our servers

The dates and the benchmark you choose appear in the page address, because that is what makes a result shareable and what lets us look up the right published figures. A date range is not a financial figure. Amounts never appear in the address unless you put them there yourself by editing it.

Like any website, our host records ordinary request information such as the page requested and the time. We do not combine it with anything you type.

Accounts and tracking

• There are no accounts, so we hold no names, emails or passwords.
• We do not sell or share data, because we do not collect data to sell.
• If we add traffic analytics, it will be a privacy-conscious product and it will never receive your financial figures.

Changes

If this ever changes — for example if accounts are introduced so results can sync between devices — it will be stated here before it happens, and it will be something you opt into rather than something that happens to you.
